(sorry there arent more my phone died. will get lots of the carving!)This years trip to the pumpkin patch was the best yet! the kids had a blast. But i made a deal with them, If you can get the pumpkin to the car you can have it... 2 of them (kaden and britt) got smart on me and rolled the silly large pumpkins to the van! that backfired.
Noah and Willa (the 2 youngest) were very picky about theirs... and they didnt fall under the same rule. dad and i helped them get them into the wagon. so they got good size pumpkins too.
Tegan desided to be different and went with a tall skinny green one. zane's is about the same as the 2 little ones and there is somewhat of a fight over who's is really who's. Marissa's is a little bigger but still she managed to get it to the wagon on her own! Summer also got a mid sized pumpkin.
After the patch we headed into town for a Cider Press party but we were late and missed it so we bought some of the left over apples and headed home.
Kaden and Tegan had their first Birthday Party slumber party! talk about a big deal in our house. they got to go shopping for their friend and get dropped off for a night of junk food and a Harry Potter marathon!
Sunday turned into a lazy day. John was at work so the kids and i were in our PJs until i had to get ready to start back at Toys R Us for the Christmas season. its kind of my "get away". plus i get a discount on the toys that santa brings.
While i was at work John and the kids finished packing up all the unwanted toys and hauling them out of the house. He also took all 8 kids out to dinner by him self! i was very surprised and proud of him! he is braver than me!
